1st Annual Scenic Hill-Wide Yard Sales
We had a good turnout of people coming by at the different yard sales. Some people said they had seen the signs, saw the ads in the paper, internet and the TV ad on the Community Calendar.

Scenic Hill “Says Hi” Campaign
Encourage all residents wave and “give a smile” to walkers, people driving by, people out in their yards, etc. so we will be known as a friendly, caring neighborhood. We would like for people to say “If there’s anyplace to get lost in NLR, I would like it to be on Scenic Hill”.
Volunteer Hours
Please let Lisa Smith know your volunteer hours for September by October 5th so they can be turned into Volunteer Services.
My Little Corner of the Hill
We would like to start featuring short stories and poems from residents on the Hill. We’ll call it “My Little Corner of the Hill”.

Prayer Walking
Starting October 18, 2007, anyone wanting to prayer walk around the neighborhood, meet at 6:00 on Sunset Lane, at the circle.

The Scenic Hill Garden Club will meet with a Master Gardener to learn ideas about how to beautify the common areas of our neighborhood.
