1st Annual Scenic Hill-Wide Yard Sales
We had a good turnout of people coming by at the different yard sales. Some people said they had seen the signs, saw the ads in the paper, internet and the TV ad on the Community Calendar.
I had a really good time visiting with all the different people that came by and too, enjoyed visiting all the other yard sales. We had just 6 houses participating this time, but that was due to a lack of time of preparation for many people.
It was suggested that we might try to have one in the spring and then see which one is the better of the two and have that be our annual sale. Also items that I asked different people what they were looking for were jewelry, music, furniture, and wall decorations. So if you have any of these items, save them up for the spring sale.
